Description
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, originally opened in 1963 as Tally Ho, underwent several transformations before becoming the well-known entertainment venue it is today. It was renamed King’s Crown and later rebranded as the Aladdin in 1966, which included a major renovation and expansion in 1976. The property struggled financially and closed in 1997, reopening in 2000 after a $1.4 billion reconstruction. In 2007, it was rebranded as Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino after being acquired by Caesars Entertainment. The resort now features a Hollywood-themed décor, various entertainment options, and a casino that continues to attract visitors from around the world.
