Description
The D Casino & Hotel, located in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street, has a rich history dating back to its opening in 1979 as Sundance Hotel. Over the years, it underwent several transformations, including being known as Fitzgeralds Hotel and Casino. In 2012, it was rebranded as The D Las Vegas after a comprehensive renovation by its new owners, Derek and Greg Stevens. The “D” pays homage to the brothers’ hometown of Detroit and the nickname of co-owner Derek Stevens. Today, The D Casino & Hotel combines modern amenities with vintage Vegas charm, offering guests a dynamic blend of entertainment, dining, and gaming experiences in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.
