The Gold Strike Casino in Tunica, Mississippi, opened in 1994 as the Circus Circus Tunica, under the ownership of Circus Circus Enterprises. Located along the Mississippi River, it quickly became a popular gaming and entertainment destination. In 1997, the casino was rebranded as Gold Strike Casino Resort following significant renovations and expansions. The property was further enhanced when MGM Mirage (later MGM Resorts International) acquired it in 2005. Over the years, Gold Strike has become known for its distinctive gold tower, extensive casino floor, luxurious accommodations, and diverse dining options, making it a key player in the Tunica gaming market.
